"Unable to display the folder" Error when sharing Mailbox in Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2007
I have an Exchange 2007 server with 5 clients running Outlook 2003.In Outlook I right-click on the Mailbox and go to permissions and add the user that needs access to the folders and give them Owner permissions. When the user I gave permissions to adds the shared Mailbox to their Outlook, it shows the shared Mailbox, but when you try to access it you get "Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the specified folder location.".I tried to achieve this thru adding delegates too with no success. Please Help!

PLease try the below option:In outlook go to File => Open => Other Users Folder In the Pop Up type the name of the users who has shared the folder and in the drop down box select the folder type. This should allow you view the shared folder. In outlook you can only grant permissions for a specific folder. For more details on Mailbox permissions check the below linkhttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123879(EXCHG.80).aspxMahendra

Hi, To ensure you give the right access to mailbox in client side, please check the below steps firstly: 1. Right-click the mailbox and give another user owner permissions. 2. Right-click the inbox and give another user owner permissions, too. 3. Click Tools and select the email account. 4. After the windows pop up, please click change and additional setting. 5. At the Advance Tag, add the user’s mailbox in it. 6. Click OK to save it and reopen the client to try it again. You also could manage full access permission to that mailbox in server side. How to allow mailbox access, please click this link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996343(EXCHG.80).aspx I’m looking forward to your reply. Thanks, Richard.
